MOST of us have no problem seeing the world in all its technicolor glory.
But the same cannot be said for the 1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women in the UK who are color blind.

In the age of frills and shoulder pads, the BBC created a short optical illusion video to help us better understand how color blindness works.
Even though the clip was made in 1985, it’s still absolutely amazing today.
It was first broadcast as part of the BBC’s Horizon program, but recently made a comeback because he tweeted it. BBC Archive.
The video only shows the familiar Union Jack flag instead of the red, white and blue on green, yellow and black.
In the center of the flag is a black dot that viewers must watch for 20 seconds before the screen turns completely white.
At this point, you should see the flag in its original colors appear before your eyes.

The narrator explained that this was due to the “three catcher phenomenon” forcing other colored catchers to take over when some “start to tire.”
Twitter users were amazed at the results of the illusion.
One person said, “That Union Jack trick still drives me nuts!”
While another said: “Great. Definitely works, got to see the Union Flag!”
