Mira Sorvino is paying tribute to one of her favorite roles on Tuesday Dancing with the stars.
For Most Memorable Year Night, the 56-year-old actress and her partner Gleb Savchenko, 40, recreate a dance scene from Romy and Michele’s high school reunion — and they hear a very special guest: Sorvino’s 18-year-old daughter Mattea Backus!
The contemporary routine will be set to Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time,” an homage to the trio she performed with co-stars Lisa Kudrow and Alan Cumming in the 1997 cult favorite.
“I’m so excited because this week I get to make another dream come true, which is to dance with my daughter,” said the Oscar winner. Party tonight at rehearsals on Monday.
