Authorities are searching for a 27-year-old woman who has been missing for three weeks.
Amanda Nenigar was last seen in Blythe, California on February 28, officials said on Facebook. The Blythe Police Department told PEOPLE on Wednesday that her whereabouts are unknown.
Her car was found in a remote area of La Paz County, Arizona, south of Cibola a week later, KTVK/KPHO reported. She was last seen wearing a pink hoodie, black leggings, black and white sneakers, a thin bracelet and a pink purse.
The La Paz County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s requests for comment.

La Paz County Sheriff William Ponce told KTVK/KPHO that Nenigar lives near Blythe but commutes to work in La Paz County, where other family members live.
After her family reported her missing, a week later her Toyota Camry was reportedly found by her loved ones in a remote desert area. How the car was found was a mystery, Ponce said.
“The back of the vehicle was on a big rock,” explained Ponce.

Investigators determined Nenigar called 911 on Feb. 27 after getting stuck in a ditch, but it was nowhere near where the car was later found.
“When you have a vehicle that’s abandoned and you have no idea where the person went or anything, it all seems very strange to us and it’s very concerning,” the sheriff said.

“We don’t have any information, it’s very mysterious to us,” Nenigar told KTVK/KPHO. “That’s why we’re asking for the public’s help to try to find her or to give us any information that could lead us to where she is.”
Her family released a statement in which they conveyed a message to the 27-year-old.
“She could still be out there lost. She has not answered any phones since she called 911,” the statement read. “Her family misses her and if she hears this, please do whatever you can to get her home.”
