Haddon was found in the in-laws’ separate apartment on the property in the 6900 block of Phillips Mill Road in Solebury Township.
The $1 million home is owned by Haddon’s journalist daughter Ryan Haddon and Hallmark actor Marc Blucas’ son-in-law, according to 6ABC News.
Her daughter posted in a heartfelt tribute: “The bright light that was Dayle has dimmed in this earthly realm.
“It shines somewhere as bright as always where it is most needed, I have no doubt.
“She was a woman in her power, but soft and attentive to everyone.
“Deeply creative and curious, endowed with beauty inside and out. Always kind and considerate.
“She held so many, saw their greatness sometimes hidden from them, and always built bridges with her own connections to help them soar.
“She was everyone’s greatest champion. An inspiration to many.
“I always believe in the timing of things. There are no coincidences and it is certain that how we enter and exit this world is mystical and unknowable.
“She was a high-hearted spiritual being who valued the evolution of her soul, so I know her journey here in this dimension must have been completed.”
Carbon monoxide poisoning ‘primary line of inquiry’ in care home death inquests
First responders were called to the residence around 6:30 a.m. local time after reports of an unidentified 76-year-old man lying unconscious, according to reports.
The man was removed from the bedroom and taken to a nearby hospital and was later identified as Haddon.
Haddon was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two medics were hospitalized due to exposure to poisonous gas, the police department announced.
The police officer was given medical assistance at the scene, and all three are in stable condition, it is further stated.
A faulty heating unit is thought to have failed, causing high levels of carbon monoxide in the house.
No one in the main house was injured, CBS reported.
Canadian-born Haddon was one of the top models of the 1970s.
During her modeling career, Haddon signed four contracts with major cosmetics companies Revlon, Max Factor, Estée Lauder and L’Oréal, according to her website.
She was featured on the covers of Vogue, Elle and Cosmopolitan.
Haddon also made a notable appearance on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 1973.
Haddon was a UNICEF ambassador and founded the New York-based charity WomenOne, which focused on providing access to quality education to girls around the world.
She wrote two books, “Ageless Beauty” and “The 5 Principles of Ageless Living”.
