Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams announced their wedding date of August 20, 2022. Sunstone Winery in California hosted the wedding ceremony. The celebration was attended by relatives and friends of the couple, as well as Sarah’s co-stars Nolan Gould, Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams reportedly started dating in 2017. The latter proposed to Hyland in July 2019, and although they intended to tie the knot the following year, they had to postpone the wedding due to Covid-19 restrictions. Adams and Hyland met on social media and didn’t go public with their relationship until 2017. Hyland already had feelings for Adams, who was trying to impress JoJo Fletcher on The Bachelorette 2016.
The duo were seen in Stranger Things costumes for Halloween 2017 and captured their best moments on Snapchat and Instagram. When asked about their wedding plans last year, Adams revealed that they had planned to exchange their vows in 2022 and that they might travel to Vegas or a courtroom if something like the COVID-19 outbreak comes up again. In an interview with People, Hyland stated:
“We are pragmatic. We share ownership of the house. We have our dogs together and have been enjoying this life adventure together for over five years. So I don’t think much will change.”
Sarah said she hopes the wedding will go one step at a time and is thrilled to start a family of her own.

She began dating ex-actor Matt Prokop in 2010. After Prokop was accused of physically and verbally abusing Hyland, the ex was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, Prokop dated actor and model Dominic Sherwood. Sarah Hyland appeared in movies like Private Parts, Blind Date, Scary Movie 5, See You in Valhalla, The Wedding Year, etc. She rose to fame with the role of Haley Dunphy in the popular comedy Modern Family.
Wells Adams’ name has never been associated with another person, and is best known for his association with Hyland. He debuted on season 12 of The Bachelorette and was eliminated in week six. Adams was previously on the third season of Bachelor in Paradise and was eliminated in week six. He reappeared as a hotel bartender for the next three seasons.
