He made his Kannada film debut in 1989 in Shankar Nag’s Kannada film Wall Poster. The actor was reportedly suffering from a long-term liver-related ailment. He was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru for treatment and breathed his last on Saturday, May 7, 2022.
