Mohammad Danesh first came into the limelight at the age of 20 when he participated in the television singing reality show, The Voice of Punjab Season 6 in 2016. His passion and dedication to music helped him reach the finals of the show. The experience of this show inspired him to continue singing and participated in his next reality show, The Voice of India in 2017. During the blind audition of The Voice of India, Danesh sang “Albela Sajan Aayo re” and impressed all four judges, Neeti Mohan, Shantanu Mukherjee, Salim Merchant and Benny Dayal; all four judges tried to invite Danesh to join their respective teams, but Danesh decided to join Neeti Mohan’s team and embark on the journey of The Voice of India together. In 2017, Mohammad Danesh met Indian poet and lyricist AM Turaz in Delhi and launched his first original song, “We Indians”, a parody of a patriotic song. The song became a breakthrough in his career. He also tried his hand at singing in Haryana with the song ‘Meri Jaan’, in collaboration with Sapna Choudhary, which also became a hit.

In 2020, Mohd. Danish auditioned for the 12th season of the singing reality show Indian Idol on Sony Entertainment Television. He conquered the judges Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya with his beautiful voice and was selected to participate in the show.
