Molly and Tommy, who today confirmed they are splitting up after five years together, got engaged in a fairytale proposal in Ibiza.
But she later admitted to her YouTube followers that she became concerned after he became overprotective of his mobile phone.
Molly, who got engaged to Tommy in July 2023, said: “My mind did somersaults, I thought, ‘Why is he doubting on his phone who he’s talking to?’
“I thought of the worst option. I was staring out the window like in a sad movie.”

Molly and Tommy, who met on the 2019 series of Love Island, confirmed their split on social media today (Wednesday).
The couple are parents to a one-year-old daughter, Bambi, who was born in January 2023.
Molly wrote on Instagram: “Never in a million years did I think I would ever have to write this.
“After five years of living together, I never imagined that our story would end, especially not in this way.
“I am extremely upset to announce that me and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.
“I will forever be grateful for what is now and always the most important thing to me, my beautiful daughter.

Molly-Mae added: “I want to thank you all for the love you’ve shown us over the last five years.

As I type , my WhatsApp groups are flashing with texts about how this seemingly solid couple has crumbled into nothingness. Just three weeks ago, Molly posted a video of the moment Tommy proposed to her – after pulling off an elaborate stunt that ended with him on one knee. The couple’s relationship, along with Love Island fan favorite Ellie Bellie and later their daughter Bambi, seemed perfect to outsiders. Molly built her brand around a healthy family life with Tommy. The cozy photos are carefully selected for her Instagram network, with her 7.9 million followers hanging on her every word as they try to emulate her life. In fact, Molly is one of the few love islanders I follow on social media for her content, along with many of my friends who love me enjoy her girl-next-door vibe and stylish fashion choices. – Bambi is our priority.
He continued: “Please respect our privacy and the privacy of our families as we go through this difficult time.”
