THIS is the shocking moment a terrified dog walker battles a hellhound type XL Bully as it goes wild on his French bulldog.
One bystander was forced to throw a pit of fire at the beast as it clamped down on the helpless Ralph in its jaws.

Josh Hymas was walking his puppy in Mansfield, Notts, when the gray mutt pounced on him from the lead.
The horrifying footage shows the thug jumping on Ralph as Josh drags him away.
The 14-month-old French ends up suspended for his advantage as the attack follows.
Josh, 30, can be seen trying to snatch the dog away from his beloved pooch but struggles to get the beast off.

The thug shakes and drags after Ralph as all hell breaks loose on a residential street before a woman in pajamas rushes in.
Josh manages to get the bully in a chokehold as he lays on top of Ralph in a life-or-death struggle as the neighbor charges in with fire.
The man smashes it across the attack dog’s back, but the blow doesn’t bother the crazed mutt as it continues its bloodthirsty rampage.
Josh said the owner screamed “kill him” as he considered gouging the dog’s eyes out to stop him.
The bully eventually loses his grip as Josh manages to wrap his arms around Ralph and lift him off the ground.
He runs for the front door, but the dog gives chase before they both crash into a brick wall.
Josh manages to get around the attacking dog and make his way through the door as the lady in the pajamas grabs the mutt by the collar and drags her away.
Josh thought Ralph was “already dead” when he jumped on him.
Recalling the horror of Tuesday afternoon, he told MailOnline: “He just went limp in my arms.
“I thought, ‘They’re just going to ravage him’ because he was tearing his head back and forth, back and forth.
“My little one-year-old boy wouldn’t know what to do without him. He’s his best friend.”
Ralph miraculously survived the attack while Josh suffered only cuts and bruises.
From December 31, Xl bullies must be microchipped, muzzled and kept on a leash in public and it will be illegal to breed, sell or abandon them.
Advertising, gifting and bartering of mutts will also be banned and they must be kept in a secure location to prevent escapes, the Government says.
The owners were reminded that they can ask the vet to euthanize their pets and claim compensation of 200 pounds.
