ROY KEANE told an Ipswich fan “I’ll wait for you in the car park” in a furious row after Ruben Amorim’s first game with Manchester United.
The incident happened at Portman Road after Sunday’s 1-1 draw between the Red Devils and the Tractor Boys.

The game marked Amorim’s England debut after replacing Erik ten Hag.
But despite taking an early lead through Marcus Rashford, United were unable to seal victory after being linked with Omari Hutchinson’s wonder strike.
And with both teams sharing the points, things heated up at full-time between pundit Keane, 53, and the home crowd.
The Irish United legend spent two years as manager of Ipswich between 2009 and 2011.
He won just 28 of his 81 games and was sacked midway through the 2010/11 season with Ipswich in 21st place in the Championship.
The video showed Keane leaving his Sky Sports desk before walking to the touchline where a fan was waiting.
Keane could be seen leaning in and talking fiercely to the man while gesturing to him.
The fan looked equally animated as Keane continued to lash out with his tongue and the pundit was heard on camera saying: “I’ll be waiting for you in the car park.”

At the same time, other Ipswich fans rushed forward to confront their former boss.
And one could be heard shouting: “Fuck Keane.”

MANCHESTER UNITED began the Ruben Amorim era with a 1-1 draw away to Ipswich.
Marcus Rashford needed just 81 seconds to give the Red Devils the lead at Portman Road, tapping home Amado Diallo’s cross.
But Ipswich hit back when Omari Hutchinson ran over Noussair Mazraoui’s rebound.
It looked like the newly promoted side would win in the second half.
Here’s how SunSport’s Charlie Wyett saw the Man Utd players perform…
ANDRE ONANA – 7/10
United’s best player. Two key stops to deny Liam Delap, but no chance to deny Omari Hutchinson’s goal.
He then made a save in the 87th minute to keep out Conor Chaplin’s effort.
NOUSSAIR MAZRAOUI – 5
He cut in from the right side of the defense with three players, but was unlucky with the deflection for the goal.
MATTHIJS DE LIGT – 5
He has been questionable this season and is likely to be more suited to a back three, although Delap still has issues.
JONNY EVANS – 5
The 36-year-old has been targeted by Ipswich for his lack of pace and it is no surprise that he has been replaced.
AMAD DIALLO – 6
He did incredibly well to bomb past Jens Cajuste and lay in for Rashford’s early goal, but offered little more.
CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN – 5
Some nice moves forward but too light in this position in front of the back three.
CASEMIRO – 4
Lucky to start ahead of Manuel Ugarte and was really bad.
He struggled throughout before being substituted and might have blocked a shot from Hutchinson.
DIOGO DALOT – 5
He is not suited to the left wing although he remained there when Luke Shaw arrived as the England international replaced Evans in the back three.
BRUNO FERNANDES – 5
Some of his links have been good but United need a captain who can inspire this team and Fernandes is not that man.
He put a free kick wide of the post with 12 minutes to go.
ALEJANDRO GARNACHO – 5
Ruben Amorim called for instructions twice in the first half.
Aro Murić made a decent save for 50 seconds in the second half.
MARCUS RASHFORD – 6
Criticized for his basketball trip to New York so scoring after 80 seconds was two fingers above his critics – but he didn’t offer much after that.

Keane’s incident with the Ipswich fan came months after an Arsenal fan was found guilty of headbutting him.
Scott Law was convicted of assaulting Keane at a match in September 2023.
The referee ruled that he head-butted a pundit and pushed him through the gates of Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium because he was cheering for a United goal.
SunSport exclusively revealed Keane was left “shaken” as friend Micah Richards pinned Law against the wall during the altercation.
The married father-of-two, who claimed he was acting in self-defence, was handed a 12-month community order and banned for three years.
Law has appealed his conviction and sentence, but a date has not yet been set.

At least in theory, the only way is for Manchester United, writes Charlie Wyett.
We’re almost a third of the way through this Premier League season and it’s still stunning to see United lurking in 12th place.
They achieved only four victories with a goal difference of 0. Only Everton, Crystal Palace and Southampton scored less.
It’s certainly not a false position and the point in Ipswich illustrated the huge task facing Ruben Amorim.
United fans chanted the name of their new manager throughout the match.
They also gave the players a standing ovation after the final whistle and while this was an improvement on some of this season’s performances, the bar was set pretty low.
Optimistic fans of the club will see their team just six points away from the top four. Ultimately, though, it’s hard to see United even reaching last season’s eighth-placed finish as they look worse.
United’s patchy defense will improve – and a three-man formation at the back will help them – but you have to wonder where the goals will come from. Marcus Rashford scored after 81 seconds before missing the rest of his 68 minutes on the pitch.
Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee were also introduced in that double substitution midway through the second half, but added absolutely nothing. They proved to be a terrible pair of signings and United fans would swap them both for Ipswich’s Liam Delap.
Amorim did not celebrate Rashford’s goal and walked around his technical area throughout looking uncomfortable.
Every time there was a break in the game, he called out to the players for instructions.
Alejandro Garnacho went to the touchline on several occasions, and there were also talks about Diogo Dalot, Casemiro and Jonny Evans.
Amorim, a manager with infectious enthusiasm, will be hoping to get his message across to all the players over the next few weeks.
But the problem for the Portuguese manager is that this was the first of 10 games in the space of 33 days.
What he really needs are spells in training without a midweek game, but he doesn’t have that luxury.
Afterwards, Keane admitted that he was getting fed up with the pundit life.
He said: “I’m going to struggle for the next 10 months doing this. I love football, but the hassle of the matches, coming to the match and the hassle with the fans.
“I was in court a few months ago and someone headbutted me, do you think I enjoy that side? Absolutely not.”
Earlier this month, Keane also revealed his future plans to move abroad when he leaves his job at Sky Sports.
Keane told The Overlap: “In the next couple of years, I’m counting on moving overseas… putting it out there.
“You know what, Switzerland, maybe? Switzerland is beautiful.”
