Moon Bin, known professionally as Moonbin, was a South Korean actor, dancer, singer and model who worked under the label Fantagio. He was a member of the Astro boy band and its sub-unit Moonbin & Sanha.

Career
Moonbin debuted as a child model and ulzzang in 2004 with the help of his mother. His first known appearance was in TVXQ’s music video for “Balloons” in 2006 when he played the role of little U-Know Yunho. He made his acting debut in the Korean drama Boys over Flowers in 2009, playing the younger version of the character Kim Bum.
Moonbin has been a Fantagio intern since fifth grade, eventually becoming a full-fledged intern in high school. He participated in iTeen’s boy band initiative and was the second intern to receive the Fantagio iTeen Photo Test Cut. Moonbin and the rest of the group participated in a web drama called To Be Continued before debuting in Astro.
Moonbin is a member of Astro, a six-piece boy band that released its first full-length, Spring Up, with five tracks, including the major hit “Hide & Seek.” He appeared on The Ultimate Watchlist of Latest Trends for the first two seasons, and was recently cast in Moments of Eighteen. Moonbin have confirmed their absence from the upcoming promotions for their Blue Flame EP release on November 12th, 2019.

On September 3, 2021, Neikidnis announced that Moonbin was chosen as his first muse and was cast in the second season of Saturday Night Live Korea Coupang Play. Death
He was discovered dead at his residence in the Gangnam district of Seoul on the evening of April 19, 2023. His manager found him when he failed to show up for rehearsals. He was 25 years old. According to a statement issued by Seoul’s Gangnam Police, which is investigating the deceased, “it appears that he committed suicide.” We are currently investigating the possibility of an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.” On April 20, Gangnam police told CNN that “no signs of foul play were found in this case.”
He was scheduled to play at the Dream Concert in Busan with fellow member Astro Sanha as part of their duet, Moonbin & Sanha, just a day before his death. Until April 20, the organizers did not publish a statement about his death.

Who is Moon Bin dating? Moon Bin was single and had never been romantically involved. However, he has said in multiple interviews that his ideal type is someone who is nice, has a good sense of humor and is understanding. He also said that he likes someone who is not too clingy and who respects his personal space.
