You can install Windows 10 on your device very easily. There are numerous ways to get Windows 10. But you need to have precise knowledge about the technical details involved. Here we have prepared a short guide from Microsoft to help you install Windows 10.

It is quite easy for you to start Windows 10 installation from scratch or upgrade your old operating system to Windows 10. But before you start the installation process, do some preparations to make it easier for you to install Windows 10 on your system.

Back up your data:

Data can be backed up in various ways, one way is to use any cloud storage service platform, such as a OneDrive folder. OneDrive cloud storage platform will sync your document, picture and desktop by following the steps below:

    7. Select UEFI Firmware Settings
    8. Press Restart
    9. Now open setup boot from firmware
    10. Set the boot order to boot the installation files from the USB device.

    Access to UEFI in Windows 8.1:

    Follow the steps below to access the UEFI environment to boot your device:

    1. go to settings
    2. Select Update and recovery
    3. Press Recovery
    4. Now under “Advanced Startup” click “Restart”.
    5. Click Troubleshoot
    6. Press Advanced Options
    7. Select UEFI Firmware Settings
    8. Press Restart
    9. Now under Firmware click on Boot Configuration

    11. Finally, save the changes.

      How to create a bootable USB stick for a clean install:

      While doing a clean install of Windows 10, you must first prepare a bootable media with a USB drive. You can use the media creation tool from Microsoft official website. Just go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10, click Download Now, and follow the onscreen instructions to install the tool.

      Start a clean installation of Windows 10:

      Once you have prepared the bootable media for installing Windows, you need to follow the steps below to complete the process:

      1. Connect to bootable media
      2. Now click any button to launch the media
      3. Click “Next” in Windows Setup
      4. Click Install Now
      5. Now enter the product key if you are installing Windows for the first time. If you are reinstalling, click I don’t have a product key to continue
      6. Press Next
      7. Select your edition of Windows 10
