Most Runs in ODI Cricket: Cricket is among the most watched and loved sports in the world, especially in Southeast Asia. Countries like India, Pakistan and Bangladesh love cricket.

The game originated in England several centuries ago and spread to British colonies such as the West Indies, India, South Africa and Australia. Cricket used to be played as a gentleman’s game, with a typical match lasting almost a week.

However, cricket has become immensely more exciting and action-packed since the introduction of the limited overs format. Now games can be completed in a day or even a few hours. The most popular format of limited over cricket is the One Day International (ODI).

As the name suggests, a typical ODI game is over within a day and also allows the players to develop their skills without sacrificing the fans’ entertainment. The most exciting aspect of a cricket match is batting, and almost all fans love to see their favorite batsmen hit the ball over the stands.

Today we will take a look at the top scorers in ODI cricket.
