Mrunal was born on August 1, 1992, in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India (age 31; as of 2023). After completing high school, she went to Kishinchand Chellaram College in Mumbai to obtain a degree in Journalism (B.A. Mass Communication).
Mrunal developed a keen interest in acting from an early age. She always had the support of her parents to fulfill her dream of entering the world of glamor.

Mrunal started her acting career while she was still in college. She made her television debut as Gauri Bhonsle Gaikwad in the TV series “Mujhse Kuchh Kehti…Yeh Khamoshiyaan” opposite Mohit Sehgal. Next, she played the role of a journalist in the Star Plus show Har Yug Mein Ayega Ek Arjun. She also hosted the comedy stage show Do Fool Chaar Mali in Dubai with co-host Barun Sobti.
Mrunal continued her acting journey with Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya opposite Arjit Taneja.
The actress has also tried her hand at Marathi films with films like “Hello Nadan”, “Vitti Dandu”, “Surajya” and “Rangkarmi”.
