Mum pays tribute to her ‘angel’ boys, 7 & 15, killed in car crash alongside their dad & says ‘life will never be same’

Heartbroken families of four people killed in a horrific crash on the M6 ​​caused by a wrong-way car have paid tribute.

The collision occurred around 4:04 p.m. on October 15 after it was reported that a Škoda was traveling southbound on the northbound carriageway, and then involved in a head-on collision with a Toyota.

The driver Jaroslaw Rossa (42), his companion Jade McEnroe (33) and his two sons Filip (15) and Dominic (7) died when their Toyota collided with a Skoda.

Officers raced to the scene after multiple reports of the Skoda traveling southbound on the northbound carriageway when the crash happened near Tebay Services in Cumbria.

The driver of the Skoda – who has not been named – was also killed in the crash on Tuesday last week.

Paying tribute to her sons, Filip and Dominic, their mother Kamila said: “Our hearts are broken by the death of our beloved angels – Filip and Dominic.

“Filip was very intelligent, sensitive and full of love. We will never forget his smile, open arms and the words “tuli, tuli” (hugs, hugs).

“He was fascinated by computer games, but also incredibly good at chess.

“He loved chemistry and dreamed of studying at the University of Glasgow.

“Dominik was always smiling, very determined and sociable. He was extremely caring, always thought of others first, and was the first to come to the rescue if someone was in trouble.

“Always surrounded by a group of friends of all ages. He loved dinosaurs and Pokémon, but most of all he loved penguins and dreamed of adopting one.

“Our lives will never be the same again.”

A passenger in the vehicle, Jade McEnroe, aged 33, of Kilmuir Road, Glasgow, also died at the scene.

Paying tribute to their daughter, Jade’s parents said: “Our beloved daughter Jade, you are very much loved and we will miss you every day.” You are a much-loved mummy to Arran.

Her son Arran, aged 7, was also in the vehicle and was taken to hospital where he remains with serious injuries.

His father said: “I would like to thank everyone for their kind messages, the emergency services and members of the public who helped at the scene.”

All four passengers in the Toyota came from Glasgow. The driver of the Skoda was from Cambridgeshire.

Other drivers said they saw a blue Skoda swerving across all three lanes and the embankment while driving in the wrong direction.

Matrix warning signs displayed the message “Vehicle Coming” and told drivers to slow down to 20 mph.

The two vehicles burst into flames when they collided and sent a large plume of black smoke into the sky that could be seen for miles.

A spokesman for Cumbria Police said after the crash: “Officers were called to the incident at 4.04pm following reports of a Skoda traveling southbound on the northbound carriageway.

“Officers were en route when further calls were received, he was involved in a head-on collision with a Toyota.”
