HAVING a children’s birthday party can be complicated, especially when children have different dietary requirements.
A mum revealed she was left in awe after another parent made her vegan son his own lunchbox to eat at a party so he wasn’t left out.

She wrote: “My son is at a birthday party and look at this cute lunch box they made for him.
“I said I’m happy to bring anything but looooooookkkk.”
Mom handed out a “vegan box” that had a labeled label on the front that shared the contents.
Inside was a mock “chicken” sandwich, mini “no” eggs, sweet potato falafel bites, a vegan sausage roll, and a vegan Kit Kat bar.
The birthday box was shared online, and opinions were divided in the comments.
Many people praised the other parent for meeting his specific needs.
One wrote: “I’m not even vegan but I’d look into these treats. I love that for him.”
Another added: “I’ve always done this for my kids’ parties… and as a cake maker I’ve always made sure there was a vegan/gluten free option for the cakes. Everyone deserves to enjoy the party.”
A third commented: “How nice and considerate of the party organisers.”
However, some harshly criticized the parents for choosing a vegan diet for their child.

One said: “You are traumatizing your son at an early age. Well done.”
Another added: “Give him a slab of roast beef and watch him growoooowww.”
We previously shared how a mum discovered her four-year-old son was left devastated after school friends refused to come to his birthday party because she served vegan food.
Malachi Craine’s mother, Angel Craine, said they had handed out invitations to his party, but no one had RSVP’d.
The 27-year-old planned to make a chocolate vegan cake for her son’s Pokemon-themed party at the end of October.
She was shocked to discover that children at her son’s school had started bullying her over dairy-free cakes.
“Everyone harassed him and told him that they wouldn’t come if he didn’t have a cow [dairy] in his cake,” she told 7 News.
“I just can’t get over the fact that kids his age are already bullying vegans. [Malachi] he was quite sad that no one wanted to be his friend or come, but he is quite resilient.”
