Mumtaz Sorcar, also known as Pratiti Sorcar, is an Indian actress who works primarily in the Bengali film industry. She is the daughter of world-renowned magician PC Sorcar Junior.

She graduated from Modern Girls High School in Kolkata and later joined the South Kolkata Law College to pursue her LLB. She was good at sports since childhood. She trained in boxing at the South Kolkata Club under the Bengal Amateur Boxing Federation. She also trained in judo and classical jazz dance. Solkar is a gold medalist in the YMCA shot put event.
