If you could use, say, five beauty products for the rest of your life, which would they be? Along with a brightening concealer and my favorite lip gloss, I absolutely, 100 percent, hands down, should have some form of blush with me. Blush beautifies my face, and with it, my mood. I feel incomplete without it. As I write, I have ten different types of blush in my makeup bag.
As a shopping writer, it’s my job to know about popular new launches, test products and determine what’s worth recommending. In the cosmetics area alone, I have already tested more than two dozen products this year. And for over a decade, I’ve been watching makeup tutorials and creating my own flawless routine. When I’m experimenting with new products, it’s rare that something goes wrong really impress me — I tried a many products. A recent highlight was the Serum Blush Cheek Tint by Laura Geller, which the brand gave me as a gift.
The unique formula of the serum is so buildable, so natural-looking and so easy to apply. He really blew me away. Right now you can get it for just $18 if you use code SC10 at checkout.

The color payoff of Laura Geller Serum Blush Cheek Tint is up to you. The soft sponge applicator makes it easy to create a sun-kissed effect layer by layer. On days when I want to keep it light, I only need a dot or two for a clean wash. There are seven shades available and they suit many different skin tones – just check out the different models on the brand’s website – but my personal favorite is True Tawny. It has a “hint of bronze,” according to the brand, which looks like a neutral brown-pink on my fair skin.
At first I was unsure about the shimmery finish of the product, as I find it can make me look more sweaty than dewy. But it gives me just the tiniest hint of glow, and has since added some shimmer to my mostly matte routine.

To be honest, I probably should have known better. Oprah has twice included the brand’s products on her legendary list of favorite things, first in 2022 and again in 2023, saying, “These four makeup palettes go from day to night, natural to dramatic, and are especially great for women over 40 . .” In addition, Laura Geller has collaborated with icons such as Fran Drescher and Vanna White.
The serum is formulated with hyaluronic acid and polysaccharide which is supposed to be hydrating, but I didn’t notice a difference. The only downsides are small: on first use, you have to swirl the product for quite a while before it starts to apply, and the applicator requires cleaning (like any other makeup brush or sponge).

The unique product is also a hit with other customers. “Absolutely love this blush,” wrote a reviewer who said they bought it in “almost every color” because “it’s so good,” adding, “ [It’s] it’s super blendable and easy to create color. It just makes me look so fresh.”
“I have very dry skin, so foundations don’t work well for me,” another customer noted. “I usually have trouble blending creams, but this blush is amazing!” And the third customer said it “stays all day”.
