When Deku fought Lady Nagant, she shot him multiple times during their confrontation. At one point, she fired a very special bullet – one with a speaker inside. Through these speakers, she effectively surrounds Deku, and she is able to explain her past and how she got into this situation in a way that he can hear without needing to. both have to face each other. While this may seem like an anime invention, there are actually panels in the manga that show bullets emitting speech bubbles, suggesting that it’s really just her powers.

While the explanation of the speaker-mounted bullets is much clearer in the anime than in the manga, it only concerns Chapter 314’s two sub-panels, and it really just raises more questions. my hero academy Can Mrs. Nagant dip whatever she wants into the bullet, as long as it stays in the barrel of her gun? If so, can it be used to make explosives? Or, was she going to tell Izuku her story, and bring it here specifically? After all, if there’s a speaker, there must be a microphone for her to talk to, and it doesn’t seem like she has all of them, especially since she’s been recently jailbroken.
Speaker bullets can also have some strategic value; since Deku is obscured by a smokescreen due to his new workaround, she can’t see him, but he can’t see her either. Ms. Nagant’s purpose in firing these megaphone projectiles was likely to confuse Deku, causing her voice to come from various places, making it unclear where she was. If so, that would be a very smart move, although preparing something like this would still be odd. One can’t help but wonder if this is a trick she learned during her behind-the-scenes heroism, tricking her assassination targets into showing up as a distraction.
This unusual ability of Mrs. Nagant is certainly interesting, if nothing else, although given her fate at the end of the series, it is unlikely to return to relevance any time soon.
