Naved was born on August 10, 1993 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (25 years old in 2018). He was educated at a convent school in Mumbai and later attended Guru Nanak Khalsa College in Mumbai.

He was inspired by Sean Paul’s song “Temperature” when he happened to hear it at a wedding at age 13. While in college, he formed a hip-hop group with friends called Schizophrenia.

In 2014, he released Aafat, a DIY music video on YouTube. Soon, the song went viral, racking up millions of views.
