Nakul Nath is an Indian businessman, politician and member of the Indian National Congress (INC). He was elected as a Member of Parliament (MP) in 2019. According to a 2023 report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), Nakul is the richest member of Parliament. He made headlines in December 2023 after the Speaker of the Lok Sabha suspended his membership of Parliament.

Nakul Kamal Nath was born on Friday, June 21, 1974, in Kolkata (now Kolkata), West Bengal, India (49 years old; as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Gemini. Ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Nakul became a member of the party and won a large number of votes from the Chhindwara constituency. As a Member of Parliament, Nath served as a member of the Panchayati Raj Advisory Committee, functioning under the Panchayati Raj Ministry. On September 13, 2019, he was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Commerce. On September 13, 2023, Nakul became a member of the Business Committee of the House of Federation. In December 2023, Speaker Om Birla removed him from the Lok Sabha.

Suspended by Lok Sabha
On December 21, 2023, three Indian National Congress MPs, including Nakul Nath, were suspended for misconduct and violation of the Parliamentary Code of Conduct. According to sources, Nakul had earlier in December 2023 protested against the suspension of more than a hundred MPs who raised questions over security breaches in the Assembly when some youths released tear gas in the Assembly. Nakul raised slogans in Parliament during the protest and did not stop despite the Speaker of the Lok Sabha warning him not to do so. Later, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi moved a suspension proposal to the Parliament, which was accepted by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. Josh stated in the proposal,
This Court has taken serious notice of the misconduct of Deepak Baij, DK Suresh and Nakul Nath. They grossly disregarded the authority of the House and the Speaker. They displayed placards and entered the well of the House. For this reason, they were suspended from the House of Representatives.
