Snoop Dogg’s charm has worked again!
On Monday, October 7, Nashville duo MisterMoon shocked viewers Vote when they chose a rapper instead of Reba McEntire as their coach.
Before auditioning for Kacey Musgraves’ “Deeper Well,” for which Snoop and McEntire took turns, the duo said they wanted the “I’m a Survivor” singer as their coach — leading to their decision to play. more of a surprise.
“All music makes me happy, light. I love it so much. When I was on tour with Kelly Clarkson, when she sang her song, I would sing harmony. When I sang my song, she would sing harmony with me because we both would rather sang harmony rather than lead, said McEntire, 69, of the duo Savs and Lea.

She continued, “Because your harmonies are so good, I’d love to work with you so I can just sit and listen to you all day.”
When it was Snoop’s turn to speak, he asked if their performance was considered “bluegrass.”
“We like to think of it as folk-pop,” they replied.
“OK because I got some green grass and I was trying to figure out how we can put it together. Mix and match,” joked Snoop, 52. “Honestly, I love you ladies, the sorority. I love seeing you work together like this. I’d love to have you all on my team.”
After taking a “quick moment” to talk to themselves, the duo said: “It’s an honor to sing in front of you – but we decided on Snoop.”
In an interview after the decision, Snoop raved about his new additions.

“MisterMoon, when I heard the first notes I was like wow, this is dope,” the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper said. “But I really like the fact that they sounded like they belonged together.”
Meanwhile, McEntire showed good sportsmanship.
“You fall so much in love with Snoop that you don’t mind losing to him,” she said. “It’s horrible – I have to get out of it. I have to get out of it.”
Vote airs Mondays at 8:00 PM ET on NBC.
