On Sunday, Orange is the new black The alum, 44, arrived at the Globes in a breathtaking Maison Schiaparelli gown that she described as a “piece of art.”
Speaking to Extra TV at the award ceremony, The An expressionless face star showed off the strapless, backless dress – and, in particular, how her fringe moves – calling it “maybe the coolest”.

When asked how the futuristic dress – which features a strapless neckline with spiky, flared details – could defy gravity, Lyonne said she wasn’t sure, but praised Schiaparelli’s artistic director, Daniel Roseberry.
“I don’t know,” she admitted. “Masterpiece? Daniel is a genius.”

Also in an interview with Extra TV, Lyonne called herself a “huge fan” of the French fashion house and called the dress “a work of art.”
“I’m actually honored to wear it because I’m an art lover,” Lyonne told the outlet, adding that “it’s more fun when it’s actually a piece of art.”

Lyonne let the textured floor-length Schiaparelli dress speak for itself, amping up the futuristic look with smaller details — a metallic manicure and a pair of gold earrings.
As for her hair and make-up, she chose a warm glamorous style and wore her red locks up in a bun.
