In honor of National Cinema Day on October 13, which falls on Thursday, the Multiplex Association of India (MAI) has said that moviegoers can catch the latest releases at a reasonable price. Excluding the premium and reclining forms, tickets will cost from just 99. On National Cinema Day, people can buy discount cinema tickets online through services like BookMyShow and PayTM. All you have to do is choose a location, your favorite movie and October 13 as the date. Movies available for 99 cents on National Cinema Day are Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, and Raniganj, starring Akshay Kumar.

There are also discounted prices on the latest titles including Dhak Dhak, Thank You for Coming and Fukrey 3. Additionally, a wide selection of English, Malayalam and Japanese movies are available at a reasonable price. However, IMAX and 4DX are not included in the promotion. Additionally, convenience fee and GST are not included in the $99 tickets. You can also go to your local cinemas and buy an offline ticket for the same fee. National Cinema Day was first proposed by the Multiplex Association of India in 2022 to mark the reopening of cinemas after the COVID-19 pandemic.
