Nayana Dasgupta is the wife of Raveesh Kumar, an Indian journalist and senior executive editor of NDTV India. She is a professor of history at Lady Shri Ram College for Women.

Ravish had studied in a Hindi school but was not fluent in English, which made it difficult for him to grasp the courses in college. At that time, Nayana often helped Ravish learn the language.
- Nayana and Ravish had to face a lot of difficulties to convince their parents who were against their love marriage. According to reports, both had to cut ties with their families to get married. However, after a few years, their parents accepted their marriage.
- Ravish Kumar revealed in an interview that Nayana was a good teacher and he learned history from her often or whenever he needed help.
