Nayyar Ejaz or Nayyar Ijaz is a famous Pakistani film and television actor. He is popular for playing the villain Salman in the Pakistani television series Dhuwan (1994) and Kali Das in Laag (1998).

Nayyar Ejaz was born on Wednesday, September 11, 1963, in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan (age 59; as of 2022). His zodiac sign is Virgo. Later, he moved to Lahore to continue his studies, where he lived with one of his elder brothers. Initially, Nayyar Ejaz wanted to become a cricketer and he played at the Under-19 level. He also played some first-class and first-class cricket. While he was playing cricket in Lahore, he had to return to Quetta due to his father’s illness. He became an actor after being discovered by PTV director Tariq Mairaj in a clothing store owned by a friend in Quetta. At that time, he was about to complete his entrance examination. Later, after a brief stint in the federal government in Quetta, he studied BA, BA and MA in Political Science.

His elder brother Salamat Ali is a famous classical singer and ghazal singer; he is married to Azra Riaz. When Nayyar Ejaz was in ninth grade, he played his father in a TV series, with Pakistani actress Azra Aftab playing his daughter. Talking about the same in an interview, he said,

Once, when I was in ninth grade, I played the role of a father in a TV series in which Azra Aftab played my daughter! People thought I could get away with playing the role because I looked and sounded much older than I was. “

Around 1984 or 85, he fully entered the Pakistani entertainment industry. Ejaz’s husky voice and charming demeanor attracted Tariq Mairaj as he stood in a friend’s clothing store. Four days later, Mairaj contacted Ejaz and invited him to star in a drama. At first, Ejaz was hesitant to enter showbiz due to his lack of acting skills. However, with a little encouragement, he agreed to star in the play. Soon, Ejaz made his acting debut in the TV series Zindagi Jis Ke Naam, Asghar Nadeem Syed’s first drama, in which he played the role of a profit-seeking Despicable producer. He gained recognition for the television show Dasht (1993), in which he played Shaikh, a stuttering young man who witnesses the murder of his parents.

At the beginning of his career, Ejaz did a lot of work for the PTV channel. He came into the limelight in 1994 with the TV series Dhuwan, in which he played Salman, a business tycoon and drug lord with links to drugs and other criminal activities. The show airs on PTV Home.

Eijaz said that one day after that film, he was sitting at the Islamabad airport when a woman came up to him and asked him to stand up. When he stood up, she slapped him hard. Surprised and confused, Eijaz asked her the reason behind the shame. She said that for 30 years, she often talked to her husband while he was shaving, but because of Eijaz’s vicious character in the film, she was worried that her husband would cut her face with a razor blade.
