NCIS: LA’s Daniela Ruah reunites with former cast members for incredible reason

NCIS: LA may have aired its final episode earlier this year to heartbroken fans, but it seems the cast is as close as ever.

Daniela Ruah, adored for her role as Special Agent Kensi Blye, took to her Instagram to share the incredible news that she will be reuniting with her former co-stars for a special reason.

Speaking directly to the camera and addressing her followers, the 39-year-old American-Portuguese actress revealed that she, her husband David Olson, Caleb Castille, who played FBI agent Devin Rountree, and Duncan Campbell, who played Agent Castor, were taking part. at the Malibu Triathlon to raise money for charity.

“Okay, for the past few years I’ve participated in the Malibu Triathlon to raise funds for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, but I’ve only ever run as part of a relay team,” Daniela began.

“However, this year, since I’m hitting the big 4-0 in December, I’ve decided to give myself the whole race, so swim, bike and run. We’ve also assembled a small team of people to help raise funds, Caleb Castille, Duncan Campbell and my own hubby, David Olson, who played Tom Olson.

“We’re training for it and having a lot of fun, and we’d love it if you could help raise $10,000 for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.” The star also said in the caption: “I’m nervous and excited and training with these guys!” adding, “Also, if anyone has any pointers, I’d love to hear them!”

Danielle’s followers flooded the comments section talking about how excited they were about her new venture, while also offering their own words of wisdom about taking on the physical challenge. “Wow, you guys are the best!!! Stuff like this always makes me so emotional and you all have my deepest respect for doing this! GO FOR IT, TEAM NCISLA. Thank you, thank you, thank you,” the fan wrote.

Another said: “As someone who is also new to triathlon, and in my 40s, it was the best thing ever! Enjoy the journey and we hope this isn’t your first and last.” A third added: “I got into triathlon doing the running part of sprint relays a few years ago.

“Now I’m in the Tri club and I ride the whole race. Next year I’m turning 50 and I’m giving myself a 70.3 half Ironman distance (serious bike and run training required)!!! Good luck and enjoy.”

Daniela will no doubt be thrilled to be back with her NCIS: LA family members after the show ended earlier this year. The program concluded with a two-part finale special, as well as a special featuring interviews with the cast and crew celebrating the fantastic run on CBS.
