NEET MDS 2023 Qualifying Percentile

NEET MDS Cut-off 2023: The Ministry of Health, Government of India has reduced the qualifying percentile of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) by 31,807 for each category. Candidates can check the reduced cut off here.

An official notification reads, “Ministry has decided to lower the qualifying cut-off percentile for NEET MDS 2023 by 31.807 percentile for each category (generally, SC/ST/OBC and UR-PWD) as per DCI MDS Regulations, 2017 and Regulation 2 in clause 7(1) of the DCI Master of Dental Surgery (1st Amendment) Regulations, 2018.”

”The qualifying percentiles for NEET MDS 2023 for the academic session 2023-24 are now: for General (UR/EWS), it is 18,193, for SC/ST/OBC (including PWD of SC/ST/OBC), it is 8,193, for UR-PWD is 13,193,” it added.

NEET MDS Result and Seat Allotment

NEET MDS Result 2023 has been declared by the authorities on March 20. Candidates can download the result sheet from the official website. The result sheet contains mandatory details like roll number, NEET MDS rank, AIQ rank etc.

According to the data, a total of 6501 MDS seats have been secured under 50% All India Quota (AIQ), 50% State Quota seats and 100% seats in Assessed/Central Universities and Private Colleges through test.

About NEET MDS 2023 Eligibility Criteria

NEET MDS 2023 qualifying percentile is the minimum score a candidate must get to fulfill the eligibility requirements for counselling. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has set the scale and continues to adjust it according to different categories. The Medical Counseling Commission (MCC) is likely to release the revised NEET MDS 2023 schedule soon.
