MCC warns of fake access cards circulating on social networks
NEET PG Admission 2023: Medical Counseling Commission (MCC) has issued a notification to warn about fake admit cards for MD, MS, MDS and DNB seats through nominated quota circulating on social media. The fake admission form claimed that the PG medical posts would be allotted on payment of fees as per the nominated quota.
MCC has advised candidates and their parents not to circulate the fake form or forward it to their contacts or on social media. The Advisory Committee reiterated that it does not host any website other than “www.mcc.nic.in”. Candidates were asked to be aware of fake emails like [email protected], [email protected].

An official notification reads: “Medical Counseling Commission (MCC) has received notice that the following ‘Application and Admission Form for MD/MS/DNB/MDS Course of 50% Government Quota/Nominated Quota (copy attached below) is circulating on social media in which they claimed that seats will be allotted on nomination basis by paying fees as per nominee/state quota. The general public is hereby informed that the application and admission form given below is ‘FAKE’ and not issued by MCC/DGHS or MoHFW.”

MCC warning against fake admission form
In addition, the MCC also stated the following points:
- MCC does not allocate seats on the basis of nominations. It is further mentioned that MCC of DGHS does not issue letters to successful candidates. Candidates who have been allotted seats by MCC have to download the provisional allotment letters from the MCC website and apply to the allotted colleges for admission. Candidates are therefore advised to keep an eye on all letters issued by scrupulous persons on behalf of MCC regarding allotment of seats.
- Candidates should be wary of fake agents and are advised to do all the counseling related activities themselves on the website instead of hiring agents for the same.
- Candidates may not share the password created for counseling purposes with others.
- Any case of fake website/agent can be reported to MCC immediately and candidate can file FIR for such matters.
- Candidates and their parents are advised not to release/forward this fake form to their contacts or on social media. Strict legal action may be taken if anyone is found to be spreading this or any such fraudulent form.
