MCC warns of fake award letter
NEET UG Counseling 2023: The Medical Counseling Center (MCC) has issued a notification to warn against fake allotment letters for NEET counselling. A notification issued in this regard reads, “MCC is in receipt of the allotment letter issued to the candidate. In this regard, we are informed that the allotment letter is fake and signatures of the concerned officer along with phone numbers and email IDs are fake.”
It is also stated in the notification pdf that MCC of DGHS allots seats to candidates based on merit and preferences entered by them through the software which can be downloaded only by those candidates who have been allotted NEET UG seats.
NEET UG Counseling 2023 Mock Allotment Letter Notification
Regarding mock NEET seat allotment letter, MCC has released certain guidelines. Candidates can check below important points to identify fake allotment letters:
- MCC of DGHS allots seats to the candidates based on merit and choices filled by them through MCC software which can be downloaded only by successful candidates from MCC website.
- MCC does not allocate seats on the basis of nominations. It is further reiterated that MCC of DGHS does not issue letters. Candidates who have been allotted seats by MCC have to download the provisional allotment letters from the MCC website and apply to the allotted colleges for admission. They are therefore advised to beware of any letters issued by anyone on behalf of MCC regarding allotment of seats.
- Candidates should be wary of fake agents and are advised to do all activities related to registration on the website themselves instead of hiring agents for the same.
- The password created for registration must not be shared with anyone.
- MCC does not host any website other than mcc.nic.in. candidates should beware of fake websites.
- Any case of fake website/agent can be reported to MCC immediately and candidate can file FIR for such matters.

NEET UG Counseling 2023 Updates
Earlier, the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) announced the final results of the third round of NEET 2023 counseling at mcc.nic.in. All candidates who have been allotted seats can report to their respective colleges by 18 September 2023. Further, the registration for the vacancy round will start on 21 September 2023. MCC NEET Counseling 2023 is held for 15% All India Quota (AIQ). ) seats in Government Colleges and 100% in General/Central Universities, ESIC/AFMS, AIIMS, JIPMER and BSc Nursing programs based on NEET.
