Neha Mahajan was born on Saturday, August 18, 1990 in Talegaon Dabhade, Pune, Maharashtra (age 33; as of 2023). After completing her education at Talegaon Balvikas School in Pune, she received a scholarship to study drama and acting at Trimble Tech High School in Texas. Mahajan received his Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Pune.

Neha started her acting career while still studying when award-winning directors Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukathanar noticed her and cast her in the Hindi short film Bewaqt Barish (2007). Her English-language debut was Deepa Mehta’s Midnight’s Children (2012), adapted from the novel by Salman Rushdie. In 2014, Neha did a Marathi film Ajoba and her Hindi debut film Varanasi Feast. She played the role of Abha in the Marathi classic Coffee Ani Barach Kahi (2015), which won her awards and appreciation. Neha Mahajan has appeared in more Marathi films such as Nilkanth Master (2015), Aai Tujha Aashirwad (2016), Friends (2016), Youth (2016), One Way Ticket (2016) and Tujha Tu Majha Mi (2017 ).
