Profession

Neha started playing cricket at the age of 17. Just two years after picking up cricket, she represented the college team, university team and then the national team. In 2010, she was selected to play in the 2010-11 Challenger Cup and her outstanding performance in the tournament helped her get a call-up to the Indian team. On January 18, 2011, she played her first ODI match for the Indian Women’s National Cricket Team, against the West Indies Women’s Team in Rajkot. She also made her T20 International debut on June 26 of the same year, against the England Women’s Team in Taunton. After 2011, she did not get the chance to play for the national team, although she continued to play in domestic tournaments. In 2014, due to her mother’s responsibilities, Neha decided to retire from cricket, but she could not stay away from cricket for too long and made a comeback in the 2015-16 Ranji Trophy. As of 2020, Neha has played over a hundred domestic cricket matches and is confident that she will be selected for the national team.
