Scott “Carrot Top” Thompson is a popular comic in the late 90s/early 00s. Comedy aside, one of the most talked about topics when Carrot Top is mentioned is his appearance and whether or not he’s had plastic surgery. Various publications have tried to investigate his makeover, but the comedian himself denies any reports that he underwent plastic surgery to change his appearance.
Carrot Top denies having plastic surgery
Top has faced plastic surgery rumors and before-and-after photos for decades. Some experts have even compared his makeover to cosmetic surgery disasters. For example, leading plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn believes the comic had laser or chemical peels. dr. stated that Top looked more like a muscular cartoon figure.
Despite the reports, the comedian has always denied doing anything. In a 2015 interview with Florida Today, the Florida resident called the cosmetic surgery allegations “crazy.” He also admitted to his steroid use. When I did the Comedy Central Roast, they decided to focus on Carrot Top. I’ve calmed down lately, but I used to be huge. Nothing, just a lot of effort and no cosmetic surgery for me.
He later denied the allegations, claiming that they came from his greatness after a lot of hard work.
People may assume so since I was big for a while but never worked. I mean, if I had cosmetic surgery, I would look better! Those around me know that I work so much that I couldn’t do the job even if I wanted to.
No way. And, at the time of the rumours, he was performing hundreds of concerts every year.
