NFL star Juwan Johnson and his wife Chanen are expanding their family!
On Saturday, the New Orleans Saints tight end, 27, and Chanen, 28, shared via a joint Instagram post that they were expecting their second child.
The post included a video showing the couple posing for the camera and embracing while holding Chanena’s baby bump. They also showed off their 8-month-old daughter, J’adore Blessing, holding her to the camera while wearing a pink “big sister” sweater.
“A miracle❤️👼🏽,” Chanen wrote in the caption, adding their couple’s name to the hashtag: “#juandchan.”
The couple, who met as students at Penn State and married in 2020, welcomed J’adore in July 2023 and were candid about Chanena’s efforts to get pregnant for the first time.
Shortly after J’Adore arrived last summer, Juwan wrote a heartfelt Instagram post about their excitement for the new baby and shared why they named her “Blessing.”
“What a BLESSING! The college doctor said [Chanen] she could never have children. That she couldn’t. A year ago I had two miscarriages. But I know something and someone who is bigger than this giant. God never lost. Not ONCE,” the athlete wrote at the time.

“This girl here is one of a kind and I am grateful to call her my wife. God gave this little girl and this is a testament to unwavering faith,” he continued. “Thank you Jesus. I love Blessing Johnson, welcome to this world princess! Daddy will alwaysss be there for you and Mommy.”

Since J’adore’s birth, the two have been loving parents, and even talked to PEOPLE about parlaying their experience as dog parents into having a baby in the house.
“We jumped into the whole parenting thing really quickly,” Chanen said last month. The couple’s dogs, Fitzgerald and Hendrix, joined the family in the months after their wedding. “It’s been amazing. It’s affected our lives so much. Obviously, 2020 has been a crazy year.”
“They were literally emotional support,” she added of the animals. “They bring so much joy to our lives. Now that we have a baby, she and the dogs get along well. They are the cutest, and it’s just the cutest little family.”
J’Adore, whose nickname is Dori, recently started getting close to Fitzgerald.

“Fitz is very attached to Dori, so they have their little moments, and he will come over and lick her and play with her,” Chanen told PEOPLE.
“When she was a newborn, he would just sit and protect her at all costs. And if someone came and passed, he didn’t have it,” she added.
J’adore attended her first Saints game in September to cheer on her father, and Chanen said she will soon achieve more great success.
“I think he’ll be walking soon, but he’ll be crawling soon,” Chanen shared. “She’s also very close to talking, which we’re excited about. I’m going to film the first time she talks. There’s no way I’m going to miss that. Oh my god, she’s so old, it’s scary. She’s literally going to start driving soon.”
