Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Take Daughter Malti to Hindu Temple: ‘Blessings for the Little One’

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas are soaking up some special family time with their baby girl.

On Wednesday, Chopra, 41, posted several photos on Instagram of herself and Jonas, 31, taking their two-year-old daughter Malti Marie to the Ram Mandir — a Hindu temple complex in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India.

The Quantico the actress held her daughter with her back to the camera in one shot, while in another the trio posed with Chopra Jonas’ good friend Tamanna Dutt and her husband Sudeep’s son.

Priyanka Chopra shares photos of daughter Malta’s journey from birth to present: ‘Time flies’

Other photos feature Chopra’s mother Madhu, with Madhu also posing with Tamannaah and Sudeep Dutta and their son in a further photo.

The video also showed Chopra, dressed in a yellow sari, hugging Malti as the family entered the temple.

“Blessings for baby and family 🫶🏻,” Chopra Jonas, who was born in Jamshedpur, India, captioned the post.

Singer Jonas is currently on hiatus from five Jonas Brothers albums. One night. World tour dates. The band last played in Melbourne, Australia at Rod Laver Arena on March 9th and will next perform in Brazil at Allianz Parque in São Paulo on April 16th.

Meanwhile, Chopra Jonas, who was pictured visiting a Bulgari store in Mumbai on Friday, announced last month that she was ready to return to work.

“Yep.. finally getting back to work energy 🤪,” she captioned an Instagram Story photo of herself wearing a dark gray Joah Brown sports bra and a set of shorts.

While speaking with PEOPLE in October 2023, Chopra got candid about the scary reality that comes with parenthood. When asked how often she feels overwhelmed as a mom, she then replied, “I think every day.”

“I think when you put them to bed, it’s extremely devastating because every day you worry about what you can go wrong and what mistake you can make,” Chopra continued. “But you have to check yourself, and I check with my family.”

“I’m looking at [my daughter’s] he smiles and I say, ‘Okay, okay. So far, I’m doing well,’ she added. ‘It’s the best thing I’ve ever done, but it’s extremely scary’.

The couple, who married in December 2018, welcomed Malti via surrogate on January 15, 2022. Mala spent her first 100 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) after being born a full trimester premature. She returned home just in time for the actress’ first Mother’s Day in May 2022.
