Nicki Minaj Postpones Show ‘Due to Doctor’s Orders’ as She Asks Fans for ‘Healing Energy’

Nicki Minaj was forced to cancel her performance in New Orleans on Monday due to illness.

The notice was sent via the Smoothie King Center account on Xex-Twitter, hours before the rapper was scheduled to take the stage.

“Due to doctor’s orders, Nicki Minaj has to postpone her NOLA performance tonight. With Nicki still sick, our team doesn’t want to risk others getting sick and Nicki not being able to give NOLA the performance they deserve,” the announcement read.

AND subsequent post he asked concert-goers to hold on to their tickets as it works as the venue is “working diligently to find a new date”.

The musician (41) first hinted early on Saturday morning that he was under the weather.

“Barbz please send me healing energy. I woke up feeling like I have Covid. Thank God I don’t. You are just everything. I appreciate you. I love you so much,” Minaj wrote on X. IN second postshe noted that her voice “will probably sound a little different.”

She echoed those sentiments as she shared photos from her performance at the Rolling Loud California festival on Friday, expressing that she was only able to take the stage because of the “love and beautiful energy” of her fans.

Thank you,” Minaj wrote on Instagram next to various photos from the festival. The artist is still scheduled to perform in Atlanta on Wednesday as part of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour.

Before the tour kicked off earlier this month with a stop in Oakland, California, Minaj told her fans that it would be her “best tour yet.”
