She met Punit Pathak during a season of the popular TV dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4, when both Nidhi and Punit were working in the creative department. Later, they met and became friends on the sets of Dil Hai Hindustani in 2017. Soon, they fell in love with each other and after dating for more than two years, the couple got engaged on August 26, 2020.
