Nash-Betts’ humorous revelation came after she called Kelce a “dream” to work with on the new FX series, in which she leads the cast as a small-town detective who investigates a string of crimes. “He’s so charming, but he comes to work prepared,” she told ETalk. “He’s open to learning. And I think his fans will be pleasantly surprised.”
The actress also said she thinks the NFL star “caught the bug” with his latest role, adding, “I could be wrong, but I feel like yes, you’re going to see him do a lot more.”

For GrotesquenessKelce has landed her first scripted television role in the series, which follows Nash-Betts’ character Detective Lois, who tries to solve a “chillingly personal” series of crimes.
And after meeting Kelce on set, the actress now plans to watch a Chiefs game with her wife, Jessica Betts, she told PEOPLE this week.
“So I’m going to see him, but I also saw him play in the Super Bowl. But we didn’t know each other then,” she said. “It’s different now. At first it was like a game, and now it’s like, ‘Oh, there’s my friend Travis. Hey Travis!’ It’s different now.
As Nash-Betts explained, the “guys” on set were “kissing each other all the way” when they first saw Kelce. Ultimately, he was “nice to have on set,” “came prepared” and was “very open” to suggestions.
“He was very receptive to a note or a suggestion. So receptive,” Nash-Betts said. ” ‘Tell me what I don’t know. Tell me what you think about this.’ And I like that he didn’t come in trying to act like, ‘I know everything and I know everything.’ ”
