Later, Har Prasad became a major player in the Indian tractor market by partnering with American companies such as Massey Ferguson and Minneapolis Motors. Later, he returned to India and joined Yamaha, starting from the lowest position and working there for six years. Nikhil Nanda was appointed as the Principal Board Member of Escorts Limited in 1997. He subsequently became Chief Operating Officer in October 2005, Joint Managing Director in September 2007 and finally Managing Director of Escorts Limited in September 2013.
