Nikita Gandhi was born in Kolkata on Wednesday, October 2, 1991 (age 27; as of 2018). Her zodiac sign is Libra.
She attended La Martiniere School for Girls in Calcutta (Calcutta). She then moved to Chennai to study dentistry and received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Ramachandra University, Chennai. She studied Western classical music at the KM Institute of Music and Technology.

She started her career as a playback singer in 2013 with the song “Modern Kalyanam” from the Tamil film “Kalyana Samayal Saadham”.
She later sang the song “Ladio” for the Telugu, Tamil and Hindi versions of the Tamil film I (2015).
In 2015, she sang three songs for the Iranian film “Muhammad (SAL): Messenger of God”. In 2017, she made her debut as a singer in Bollywood with the song “Raabta Title Song” from the movie “Raabta”.

She wrote in the statement that her words had been misinterpreted and there was confusion about what she said and what was published.

- Nikita Gandhi was scheduled to perform at the Cochin Technological University Annual Music Festival in Kochi, Kerala on November 25, 2023; however, the event was interrupted when four students were killed in a stampede at the event. Nikita quickly took to social media to express her sadness, noting that the incident happened before she left for the event.
