Nina Dobrev takes a trip down memory lane to celebrate boyfriend Shaun White’s birthday!
On Tuesday, September 3 The Vampire Diaries The alum, 35, shared multiple sweet snaps on Instagram to mark White’s 38th. Her love post was filled with various pictures, from riding a scooter to silly selfies.
“It’s so hard to go through years of photos and narrow down the ones to post for your birthday,” Dobrev wrote in the caption. “There are too many photos, too many adventures, too many laughs, too many cute moments, too many trips, too many inside jokes, too many memories, and of course, too many photos that are too inappropriate to publish.”
“I love the birthday boy too much 🤍 @shaunwhite,” the Mason the actress concluded.

One shot shows the couple embracing with a blue sky in the background, while another shot shows the former professional snowboarder and skateboarder in a white shirt with a black bow tie around his neck.
The carousel of pictures included an adorable picture of Dobrev sitting on White’s knee in a floral dress as she lifts her leg in the air in front of the picturesque backdrop, and the duo also posed for a few selfies together in the post.

Other photos showed them going on a scooter ride together, with the pair holding glasses of what appeared to be champagne.
Dobrev and White announced their relationship in April 2020 and have been open about their love ever since.

While appearing on an episode of PEOPLE in 10 in January, Dobrev revealed that she and White still struggled to date regularly after four years together.
“In general, I’m more of a planner in life. Yes, I love a schedule and I sure love a plan. I’m a Capricorn, so it’s part of my personality,” she explained who plans their evenings together. “But we implemented something, I think it’s really great. We have dates every week and we take turns [planning].”
Dobrev continued, “So one week I’m going to plan it and he won’t have a clue what we’re doing so it’s a surprise for him. And then next week they will plan and it will be a complete surprise to me. And we do that every week.”

The actress said at the time that the experience “keeps things kind of exciting and interesting and makes the time the two of us spend together.”
When it comes to potentially tying the knot, White previously told PEOPLE in April 2023 that they’re “just enjoying” their “time together right now” and that there’s “no pressure” to tie the knot.
“But you never know. We’ll see what happens,” he admitted.
