’90s heartthrob Adam Rickitt looks completely different after swapping fame for the quiet life of a bar owner.
The 46-year-old actor and singer shot to fame when he joined the cast of Coronation Street in 1997 as the original Nick Tilsley.

The actor appears to be channeling Belgian actor Jean-Claude Van Damme with his rugged new look.
He stayed on the show for two years, and his character gets caught up in a complicated romance with Leanne Battersby, played by Jane Danson.
In 1999, he shot to pop stardom with a solo music career, reaching the top 10 with his single I Breathe Again.
He initially signed a six-album deal with Polydor, although he only released one, Good Times, before parting ways with them.

He later returned to Corrie from 2002 to 2004.
In 2006, Adam tried his hand at politics, appearing on Question Time as a potential candidate for the Conservative Party, but failed to find a footing.
Although he continued his acting career for a while, even joining Hollyoaks for three years from 2017 to 2020 as Kyle Kelly, things are much simpler these days.
But now Adam is completely unrecognizable with a pale blonde shaggy haircut, tattoos and a whole new lifestyle.
While in the 90s he was known for his signature blue curtains of that era and boy-next-door demeanor, in recent years he has bulked up and grown his curls.
He married his wife Katy Fawcett in 2014 and they travel the world together, sharing pictures from his trip to Taormina, Sicily.
The star showed off her new locks while posing on a balcony during the trip and later joked on Instagram: “First day…90% wine or mojito…dumb hair (sorry) but @katyrickitt keeps saying she loves it !!
While he continues to act, appearing in the BBC soap Doctors last year, his priorities have now shifted to his bar, Dexter and Jones in Knutsford, Cheshire.

He and Katy describe the business venture as “the ultimate passion project, combining our love for our community, each other and great drinks.”
The star often shares his pride in his workplace, which focuses on selling craft beer and specialty gin.
A hands-on manager as well as owner, Adam often posts pictures and videos from his time at the bar.
However, they were ruined in 2022 when they were targeted by fraudsters who defrauded them of £50,000 in a push payment scam.
The scammer called Adam pretending to be from Barclays Bank, using an 0845 number that appeared to be legitimate.
They then proceeded to convince him that someone had tried to withdraw money from the account and that they needed to make a ‘fake transfer’ to trigger the fraud team.
In 2020, Adam discovered that he had ankylosing spondylitis, an autoimmune disease that left him infertile.
The actor said people can be “brainwashed” into wanting children, but confirmed he and Katy are happy with their dogs.
