The NMC issues guidelines for medical schools to conduct examinations
NMC Guidelines for Medical School Examinations: The Postgraduate Medical Education Committee of the National Medical Commission has published a Standard Operating Procedure for Medical Schools and Examination Institutions. According to the instructions issued, the medical colleges will conduct the examinations as per the guidelines laid down by the Board of Postgraduate Medical Education of the National Medical Commission (PGMER).
Faculties are obliged to keep a video record of the examination process, and all relevant data about the examiners, including the examination process, data about subjects kept for the examination and students’ graduate work, must be kept at the institution.

The NMC notice states that the guidelines will apply with immediate effect for the purpose of evaluating examinations as part of the Accreditation Inspection and Recognition Against Increased Enrollment and Renewal of Medical Programs.
The issued guidelines also state that there will be no physical or online control of the examination procedure and that faculties can continue to conduct examinations as scheduled.
Physical assessment of medical colleges and institutions will be done after the completion of examination and evaluate the faculty with respect to infrastructure, clinical material, examination material and other facilities and examination details.
