What happened to Adrian Taylor-Zehr?

The Mackinaw Police Department and EMS were notified of an accident Friday night at 9:02 p.m. involving a pedestrian and a vehicle in the 100 block of N. Main St in Mackinaw. The pedestrian, Adrian Taylor-Zehr, 9, of Kruse Street, was transported to OSF Healthcare Saint Francis Medical Center unresponsive, not breathing, and without a pulse. Despite aggressive resuscitation and care efforts, he was pronounced dead at OSF at 10:06 pm The boy sustained multiple blunt force injuries that were incompatible with life and unfortunately were non-survivable and irreversible.
