The Magic number of Old Dominion must be seven.
Country Band made up of beard Tursi, Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, Geoff Spring and Whit Sellers celebrated the Greep of the Year Award in the Federal Association of Country Music, seven consecutive years, raising $ 1.25 million for charity during seven plays.
The band is 3-6. February performed seven concerts at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, collecting money for seven charity organizations: Musics, Save the Music, Backline Care, Opry Trust Fund, CMA Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Matthew and his wife Sara’s Ramsey Foundation.
Correctly entitled The 7 for 7 Residency, the band also set a record for most consecutive shows in Ryman’s history.

“There are so many ways to celebrate something like this,” said Ramsey, 47, in a statement that is shared with people, while also talking about a new song of the band “Making good time”.
“And this song, records a spark who is every guy in this band when we started chasing this dream. The trip is so crazy that you can’t believe it when it happens to you. But also, no matter what happens, you Never forget that. ”

Old Dominion performed guests Bear Rinehart of Needtobroate, Steven Wilson Jr., Phil Vassar, Ernest and the war and contract. The band also teased that the main announcement of the tour was coming later this month.
“Sometimes you get so much caught up in the moment, neglect,” Ramsey gave up on the announcement of a premature tour.
“I didn’t realize that I would do it, but then I did. And then it was out. At least, the news that we would do the right tour, play our own shows and make the night for the night.”

After their successful stay, the band wrote on Instagram on Monday, February 10th: “We have so many people to thank! But, it is still better that we have so many people to celebrate and share it. We knew it would be an explosion, and we hoped we will help with your favorite charity organizations. ”
They added that a number of concerts were “more than we could ever expect.”
After the last show in Ryman, Ramsey said, “At a time when charity organizations work more with less, we all thought it was really important to support organizations we know they care about people who need it.”
