Olivia Rodrigo gave fans another reason to “Smile” during her latest tour in London!
During her Guts World Tour at London’s O2 Arena on Friday, May 17, the 21-year-old Grammy winner brought out Lily Allen on stage for a reunion – almost two years after they last performed together at Glastonbury 2022.
“The best day of my entire career was when I sang with her a few years ago at Glastonbury,” Rodrigo told the crowd before introducing his fellow musician. “I absolutely adore her. Will you please give it up for Ms. Lily Allen!”
Lily Allen will join Olivia Rodrigo on stage on May 17, 2024.

After Allen, 39, joined Rodrigo on stage, the duo performed Allen’s 2006 hit “Smile,” taking turns singing and harmonizing the chorus at the end. They shared a long hug at the end of the heartfelt reunion, as Rodrigo once again encouraged his fans to “give it up” for Allen.
“It’s been a while since I’ve sung at the O2. what an amazing crowd,” Allen said in an Instagram post, which included several behind-the-scenes photos of the surprise performance. “what a wonderful team. Thank you @oliviarodrigo x”
“Last night at the O2 with the coolest girl in the whole world,” Rodrigo wrote over a video of the performance on his Instagram Stories before sharing a healthy photo of the pair backstage.
Rodrigo and Allen previously teamed up at Glastonbury 2022 for a performance of Allen’s 2008 hit “F— you,” which Rodrigo said at the time was a tribute to “the five members of the Supreme Court who showed us that at the end of the day, they really don’t give—about liberty,” after the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

While Rodrigo is busy touring his second album Intestinesher 2021 debut LP sour just hit a major milestone, becoming the most streamed album by a female artist in Spotify history.
This was stated in the company’s press release this week sour — which includes hits like “Drivers License” and “Good 4 U” — “earned the most US audio streams for a female debut album ever and broke the record for the most-streamed album in a week by a female artist on Spotify.” Rep. Rodriga also confirmed to PEOPLE that the debut album has earned more than 21 million units sold worldwide.
Rodrigo also had a bit of a wardrobe mishap on stage this week, but took it in stride. During a performance in London on Tuesday (May 14), the musician was quick to act when the back of her crop top came undone, something she said was “freakin’ embarrassing” after she finished performing ‘Love Is Embarrassing’.
“I almost flashed you, but it’s okay now,” she said, laughing.
Rodrigo’s Guts World Tour will continue through October with dates in the US, Asia, Australia and elsewhere.
