Omprakash Rajbhar was an Indian politician and an agriculturist from the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. In 2002, Omprakash Rajbhar formed the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP). In the 2017 Legislative Assembly elections, he was elected as a member of the Legislative Assembly from Zahoorabad constituency in Uttar Pradesh on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is the president of the Uttar Pradesh Ekta Manch League, which is allied with the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party.

Omprakash Rajbhar started his political career in 1981 taking inspiration from Kahilam. This encouraged him to join the Popular Socialist Party. In 1996, he was appointed district magistrate of Varanasi district in Uttar Pradesh. Later, when Bhadohi district was named Santarvidas Nagar, he objected and decided to quit the party in 2001. Soon after leaving the Bahujan Samaj Party, Omprakash joined Sonelal Patel’s party Apna Dal. After serving in the Apna Dal Party for a year, Omprakash founded his own party in Uttar Pradesh in 2002 called Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP). He began to spread the party’s vision among the local people to organize its members and political workers. In 2017, Omprakash Rajbhar won the Legislative Assembly elections from the Zaahoorabad constituency in alliance with the BJP and was appointed as a cabinet minister in the Yogi Adityanath Ministry. He was given the portfolio of Ministry of Development of Persons with Disabilities. On May 20, 2019, Omprakash Rajbhar was sacked from the Yogi Adityanath Ministry for his involvement in anti-alliance activities. Addressing a media conference ahead of the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections, Suhaydev Samajwadi Party (SBSP) president Omprakash Rajbhar said the party will form an alliance with the Samajwadi Party to form the Union Government in Uttar Pradesh soon after the poll results.

I will create a law whereby parents who do not send their children to school will be sent to jail. “
