The video is an example of the Ishihara test, a red-green color blindness tester dating to 1917.
In a more medical setting, the color images on TikTok would be called “pseudoisochromatic plates.”
In a full Ishihara test, patients would look at up to 38 different panels, although ophthalmologists can usually tell if someone is color blind after a few examples.

Color blindness may be due to defects or lack of colored reading cones on the eyeball, which are located on the retina.
Dogs only have two of the three cones needed to see the full color spectrum.
One in 12 men experience some form of color blindness, compared to one in 200 women.
The difference is that men with color blindness only need one parent to be a carrier of the color blindness gene, while women need both parents to be carriers.
