A CLEVER OPTICAL ILLUSION makes multiple colored squares appear to be moving, even if they aren’t.
The artwork gives the impression of movement, but in reality it is just a static image that deceives you.

Interacting colors and shapes trick the brain
Upon closer inspection, the bizarre graphics feature pink and white shapes on lime green or sea green squares.
Despite being arranged in straight lines, the work often appears to viewers as curved or even animated.
Japanese psychology expert Professor Akiyoshi Kitaoka created the illusion, saying the design should create a wavy effect.
However, while some people can see it move as they move, others can’t see it at all.
Optical illusions often use shapes, spaces, positions, color contrasts, and lines to trick people’s minds.
Last week, Gala Spins shared several images to examine the difference in individual perception and found that up to 71 percent of viewers believed that static dots moved in the case of a single mind-blowing image.
Bhavin Shah, a behavioral optometrist at Central Vision Opticians, explained the illusions.
He said: “The rotating movement is caused by complex processing of image signals.
“The brain assumes that the eyes are steady and not moving, so it has to assume that the pattern is moving, so the pattern starts to move.”
Bhavin added: “Some people have more of these small eye movements than others, and some are more sensitive to contrast in pattern, so there will be some variation in the appearance of the movements.”
As the anniversary weekend continues, Kate Middleton’s throwback photo also confused users.
The image has everyone wondering if the Duchess of Cambridge can defy gravity, but can you see what’s happening?
Also, the stunning picture challenges you to find three different hidden pictures as the one you see first reveals your dream job.
Meanwhile, another illusion hides a calm face, a person picking fruit, a mother and child, birds in flight, and the face of a man.
