The illustration was shared on TikTok by Mia Yilin, and viewers were stunned when they realized which group they belonged to.
The painting shows two lovers leaning in to kiss, but their faces are framed by an image of a turquoise ocean and blue sky.
What did you see first?
According to Mia, both mean very different things, she explained, “If you’ve seen the ocean for the first time, then your biggest problem is your attachment to the past.”
Still water shows how “you can’t get past people and events that are long gone.”
You may even find yourself thinking about them without realizing it, when you have other things to do.
Mia added, “As long as you’re doing this, you can’t clear your mind and heart for better things to come, so you have to learn to let go.”
However, if you saw two faces first, you’re probably “more ambitious and have super big goals.”
Also, you might have “teething problems because you’re always waiting for the right moment,” Mia explained.
She continued: “My advice is to stop worrying about doing it right and just do it.
“You don’t have to be innovative the first time, but you have to take the first step.”
Viewers agreed with what the illusion revealed about them, but some saw something else entirely.
One commented: “I saw a tree, am I normal?”
And another wrote: “I saw a dead tree and a bird.”
